Swiss Luxury watch brand, TAG Heuer, has today unveiled a daring new campaign, created by award winning creative agency, WING, featuring 15-year-old UK world champion skateboarder and TAG Heuer Brand Ambassador, Sky Brown.
Set against the backdrop of iconic London landmark, Tower Bridge, with Sky Brown demonstrating her unique skateboarding prowess showcasing a range of tricks including her renowned favourite, the Japan Air, where the skater pulls the board up behind their back, whilst flying high above the half-pipe.
The innovative and custom-built TAG Heuer half-pipe measured over four metres high and sat between two London double-decker buses, which were manoeuvred down the River Thames on a floating barge.
To complete the stunt, Sky was wearing the TAG Heuer Aquaracer Professional 200 Solargraph, a watch designed with adventure in mind, withstanding extreme pressure and pushing boundaries to their limit.
The social campaign launches today with a hero video and series of stills housed on TAG Heuer’s social platforms including; Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, YouTube and X.
In a testament to the enduring partnership between TAG Heuer and the skating universe, following the display, TAG Heuer is donating the half-pipe to Flo Skatepark in Nottingham. This charity run facility provides a welcoming community, inspiring locals to embrace the sport as well as acting as a Talent Pathway Hub for fostering young sportspeople.
Rachel Walsh, Marketing & Digital Director at TAG Heuer - UK said: “Sky has been a part of the TAG Heuer family since 2022 and we were thrilled to welcome her in the UK for this exceptional project in this iconic London location. She once again proved that she can take on any challenge and will no doubt continue to inspire more people to try skateboarding.”
Will Ingham, WING Founder and Creative Director said: "This campaign is a testament to TAG Heuer's passion, the indomitable spirit of Sky Brown and the vibrant energy of London. By seamlessly blending the worlds of skateboarding and urban landscapes, we aimed to create a spectacle that would captivate audiences whilst embodying TAG Heuer's values of precision, action and high-performance."
This is WING's second campaign for TAG Heuer and builds on a previous project featuring professional snowboarder Aimee Fuller in 2021. In a groundbreaking endeavour, Aimee rode an e-foil down the Thames, becoming the first person to do so. Filmed at dawn with specialised camera crews and drones, the result was an impressive film showcasing both TAG Heuer's Aquaracer range and the serene beauty of central London at daybreak.
