Launched in 2008, Real Wild offers the opportunity to explore the wonder of all things wild; exotic animals, remote landscapes, and breath-taking wilderness. Our documentaries will introduce you to the complexities of nature across the globe – fierce, fragile and remarkable. From lush rainforests to sparse deserts, from friendly pets to predatory sharks and lions, Real Wild documentaries will take you around the world, exploring the wonders and the dangers nature has to offer.

Our team of content superfans and digital experts work hard to upload consistent, wild content every week, so you have a constant source of new and exciting content at your fingertips. Whether you are a world renowned marine biologist or simply an animal lover with a desire to learn, Real Wild licenses high quality, full feature-length documentaries from some of the world's biggest production companies.

With content from some of the most recognisable faces in the wildlife world, such as the legendary Steve Irwin and wildlife documentarian Austin Stevens, there is content for everyone, whether you are having a cosy night in on the sofa with your dog, or taking a break from work in your lunch to learn more about the weird and wonderful wildlife of the world.

Among some of Real Wild’s most popular uploads is Monkey Hunters: Baboons Vs Lions. Lions rarely hunt baboons. These large monkeys are armed with dangerous teeth, they are hard to catch and usually not worth the risk or effort. But there is one place in Africa - Great Rift Valley where baboons are plentiful and lions have learned to catch them. If you want something a bit more friendly and enchanting, why not watch Animal Odd Couples: The World's Most Unlikely Animal Relationships, a series in which wildlife biologist Liz Bonnin sets off on a worldwide journey of discovery to find out why animals of different species make friends with each other as well as why apex predators make friends with humans.
